Job summary

In The Pocket is recruiting for a Senior DevOps/SRE to join a brand-new RUN team, shaping how we operate and run products for clients across Europe. You will own production reliability, security, and the tooling that supports scalable, observable systems."

You will lead by example, defining practices, SLIs/SLOs, and an AI-first approach to operations while collaborating with client teams and internal engineers.

Qualifications

• Senior DevOps/SRE with hands-on production experience.
• Ability to build a new team and set direction where none exists.
• AI-driven approaches to operations, automation and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of internal and hosted products in production, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Own the incident lifecycle end-to-end, including post-mortems and on-call rotation.
• Define and operationalise SLIs, SLOs and budgets, influencing proposals and contracts.
• Build and maintain a modern observability stack with OpenTelemetry focus.
• Grow platform engineering and inner-sourcing culture with reusable components.
• Work across CI/CD, IaC, cloud-native architecture, networking for resilience and scale.
• Embed security across systems with secrets management and vulnerability remediation.
• Drive automation and AI-first approaches to reduce toil and improve reliability.
• Set and enforce end-to-end incident management best practices.
