In The Pocket is seeking an AI Engineer to join our European digital product studio. You will design and build AI-powered features on foundation models, from concept to production, ensuring reliability and user happiness while helping businesses grow.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team and clients across Europe, tackle security and data protection from day one, and contribute to evaluating systems, prompts, and embeddings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or proven track record in AI engineering.
• Deep knowledge of and hands-on experience with LLM-based solutions.
• Experience with retrieval, embeddings, chunking strategies and vector databases.
• Familiar with secure software practices (OWASP) and prompt/security considerations.

Responsabilités

• Design and build AI-powered features on foundation models, including agents and multimodal retrieval.
• Guide concepts from idea to prototype and to production deployment.
• Incorporate evaluation early to show system reliability and performance.
• Decide when human-in-the-loop is needed and when automation suffices.
• Collaborate with clients to translate needs into concrete AI solutions.
• Share learnings with the AI practice and document experiments.
