WLG in Brussels is seeking a procurement professional to own the contractual side of our multinational defence procurement, on-site in Brussels, Belgium. You will lead competitive and sole-source processes, draft and evaluate bids, and ensure contracts meet audit standards while coordinating with suppliers.

You will manage high volumes of RFQs and purchase orders, oversee contract administration including changes and amendments, and advise on procurement routes from open market to collaborative

Qualifications

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with four years of relevant experience, or a secondary qualification with six — plus, at a responsible level, at least eight years in contracting, finance or business
• Demonstrated knowledge of competitive and sole-source procurement procedure, price analysis, contract law, contract administration and industrial practice
• Experience of high-value, high-volume framework contracts for services
• Maintaining financial records to a compliance and audit standard
• Software licence procurement, and a grip on perpetual versus subscription models
• The judgement to work independently and responsibly
• Fluent business English

Responsabilités

• Drafting, coordinating and releasing solicitations, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts
• Coordinating with contractors to ensure on-time performance
• Managing a high volume of RFQs and purchase orders
• Contract administration — changes and amendments
• Reviewing business cases and selecting procurement routes
• Investigating and resolving procurement problems, driving supplier improvements
• Supporting internal customers and contributing to acquisition reporting
