Wlgroup in Brussels seeks a senior account manager to own the defence service portfolio. You will be the primary interface for service discussions, strategic engagement and escalation, with project managers holding the operational detail underneath you.

You will manage business intake, price proposals, sponsor communications, highlight reporting, and ensure timely invoices and purchase orders, while maintaining strong sponsor and stakeholder relationships in a multinational context.

Qualifications

• An MSc or BSc in a related subject with five years of related experience, or an exceptional alternative with demonstrable ability.
• Real working knowledge of project and service management in a comparable organisation.
• Project management and in-service support planning in a business or military setting.
• Experience across development or acquisition, delivery and sustainment of major command and control systems or programmes.
• Preparing and promoting service proposals and seeing them through.
• Proven customer relationship management and clear, concise reporting.

Responsabilités

• Owning the business intake and guiding price proposals through development.
• Managing and communicating progress to sponsors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sitting in regular review meetings on programme and change status.
• Running highlight reporting, including project closure and timely outbound reports.
• Coordinating with the customer to secure timely purchase orders.
• Collaborating with finance to issue invoices aligned with agreements.
• Maintaining sponsor and internal stakeholder relationships and resolving issues early.
• Responding to sponsor and customer requests with timely, appropriate routing.
