Job summary

European Space Agency (ESA) in Redu, Belgium seeks a Cyber Security/Reverse Engineer to support the development of a national security evaluation laboratory capability. The role covers security engineering across the full stack—from physical to application layers—within the System Security Section of the End-to-End Systems Division.

You will analyse vulnerabilities, perform reverse engineering, contribute to lab technologies, and collaborate with national customers and ESA experts on security

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with minimum three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and plans for security evaluation lab capabilities.
• Engage with national customers and ESA experts on security evaluation options.
• Derive technical requirements and assess project proposals for security design and validation.
• Identify new security application areas and drive innovative lab concepts.
