WLG is seeking a senior contracting professional to manage an acquisition from market research through tender and negotiation to award. The role is predominantly off site with regular days in Brussels, offering a substantial scope across pre- and post-award activities in a large international context.

You will engage with project managers, suppliers and senior management, applying contract law, cost analysis and e-procurement tooling to ensure compliant, high-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline or long progressive contracting career exhibited.
• Pre-award and post-award contracting on high‑value acquisitions in large organisations.
• Knowledge of competitive and sole-source practice, contract administration and law.

Responsabilités

• Run tender, evaluation and acquisition processes for complex, high-value requirements.
• Research suppliers and markets and turn findings into sourcing strategy.
• Advise on sourcing models and tendering policy and procedures.
• Negotiate with suppliers, including acceptance criteria for later stages.
• Oversee delivery against contract and challenge under-performance using contractual terms.
