Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Senior Consultant – Customer & Sales to help financial institutions rethink how they serve clients. You’ll analyze and optimize sales and distribution models, develop sales excellence initiatives, and support transformation programmes across branches, agents and digital channels.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Dutch, French and English speaking teams, shape customer journeys, and contribute to operating models with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 2–5 years of experience in commercial, sales, strategy or transformation domains.
• Topic areas include distribution, sales performance and customer journeys.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
• Demonstrates initiative with fresh ideas and an open mindset.
• Analytical and structured approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise sales and distribution models across branches, relationship managers, agents, brokers, remote teams, and digital channels.
• Develop sales excellence initiatives such as customer journey improvements, frontline enablement, and commercial steering.
• Support commercial transformation programmes from discovery to delivery, including stakeholder engagement and organisational change.
• Create actionable insights based on commercial data (volumes, conversion, funnel efficiency, productivity).
• Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams to understand needs, challenges and opportunities.
• Contribute to the redesign of operating models, governance, roles, incentives or performance measurements.
• Work in an agile or hybrid delivery mode, bringing structure, clarity and communication.
