Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Senior Consultant Strategy & Transformation – Banking to lead initiatives that improve operational excellence, reduce costs, and drive digital transformation across banking operations. You will partner with clients to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and AI-driven innovations.

You will guide agile projects, manage change, align stakeholders, and help banks adopt new ways of working to achieve straight-through processing and enhanced customer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant banking/consulting experience.
• Knowledge of banking services such as lending, payments or daily banking.
• Experience with process optimization, RPA, and AI implementations are a plus.
• Certifications in project management, agile or change management are a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive agile projects forward, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality.
• Support adoption of new solutions through change management aligned to client culture.
• Implement strategies to streamline processes and optimize efficiency for cost reduction and quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, leveraging expertise to optimize workflows.
• Explore potential AI applications to enhance decision-making and operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements for application improvements aligned with business goals.
• Lead digital transformation by automating manual processes and modernizing digital solutions.
• Assist banks in adopting new ways of working and achieving straight-through processing.
