Green Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Developer to drive growth of BESS projects in the Walloon Region. You will develop new opportunities and expand the existing pipeline, while negotiating with landowners, grid operators and authorities.

You will collaborate with cross-border teams and manage key accounts across multiple countries, focusing on renewables and energy storage. You bring 5+ years in commercial roles within energy or industrial projects, fluent French, and strong

Qualifications

• Higher education and successful track record in development of renewable energy projects.
• Minimum 5 years of professional commercial experience, preferably within industrial projects or energy sector.
• Great interest in renewable energy, BESS, smart grids, PV, etc.
• Fluent French speaker, good knowledge of English and Dutch.
• You are relationship minded and keen on growing your network.
• Excellent communication skills and good networker.
• Organized and eye for detail.
• Good team player and creative and solution minded.

Responsabilités

• Development of new opportunities and expanding the BESS project pipeline.

For our client, a multinational active in renewable energy with more than 1 GW in PV and BESS Assets, Green Recruitment is looking for a Senior Business Developer who will develop new and existing BESS Projects.

Walloon Region

This is a new role within the Belgian and Benelux division of our client. This role is a true opportunity for an entrepreneurial and senior candidate who can develop new projects and lead the expansion of the existing BESS pipeline in the Walloon market.

Job description

• Development of new opportunities as well as further developing the existing pipeline of Industrial BESS Projects
• Your work includes commercial and contractual negotiations with landowners, grid operators, study agencies and local authorities.
• Supporting several aspects in the sales process (value propositions with the support of engineering team). You work in collaboration with internal & external colleagues from other countries.
• Account management and follow-up of existing clients
• You work on the financial aspect: preparation & follow-up of the budgets
• Select and maintain relationships with suppliers of BESS technology and external stakeholders

Your Profile

• Higher education and successful track record in development of (renewable) energy projects
• Minimum 5 years of professional commercial experience, preferably within industrial projects or energy sector
