Jobgether on behalf of our partner seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django) based in Belgium. You will build and scale high-performance APIs and microservices for a global connectivity platform in a fully remote setting.

You will own backend architecture, implement robust testing with Pytest, and collaborate with international teams to deliver maintainable, scalable solutions while continuously improving engineering practices and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Django and Django REST Framework.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures.
• Strong experience with unit testing (e.g., Pytest) and quality-first practices.

Responsabilités

• Build, maintain, and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Design and develop scalable APIs capable of handling high concurrency and peaks.
• Contribute to software architecture with a focus on operations, automation, resilience, and scalability.
• Establish and maintain quality frameworks through comprehensive unit testing and automated checks.
• Collaborate with Product and QA teams across international borders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
