Sunrise is hiring a Back-end Developer to scale our digital sleep clinic. You will build robust backend services with Python and Django, design RESTful APIs, and optimize performance while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Join a remote-first team spanning France and Belgium, collaborating with product, design, and other developers. Required are 5+ years in back-end dev, Python experience, Django REST, PostgreSQL, and strong problem-solving, plus fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• +5 years of professional Back-end development experience.
• +2 years of Python experience.
• Experience with Django and Django REST framework.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced startup env.
• Languages: French and English.

Responsabilités

• Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Python, Django, and related technologies.
• API Development: Create and evolve RESTful APIs to power front-end and mobile apps and third-party integrations.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor and resolve bottlenecks for fast, scalable applications.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to the platform's technical architecture for scalability and maintainability.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure health data security and regulatory compliance.
