Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Project Management Lead to drive two strategic automation initiatives at the Courcelles EDC in Belgium. You will establish disciplined project controls, own project execution and reporting, while engineering leads handle technical design and validation decisions.

Role requires seniority to challenge technical leads, manage costs, coordinate suppliers, and deliver an integrated plan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience on capital equipment and automation projects, including 8+ years in project or program management across engineering, automation, capital equipment, distribution, manufacturing, or facilities.
• Demonstrated control of schedule, cost, forecast, accruals, risks, issues, changes, suppliers, and executive reporting across concurrent workstreams.
• Fluent English; French required (professional French preferred for Courcelles site).
• On-site presence required: at least 2 days/week, hybrid mode of 3 days on-site with occasional 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical project delivery, budget control versus actuals, and vendor communication.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans, milestones and look-ahead schedules for two programs.
• Run weekly workstream reviews, monthly cost review, RAID log, and concise status reporting.
• Coordinate monthly accruals, purchase-order tracking, forecasts, commitments, invoices and budget variance explanations.
• Coordinate suppliers, integrators, Operations, Quality, EHS, IT, and site stakeholders to drive closure and escalate when needed.
• Prepare program-manager updates, steering materials, meeting notes, and change-control inputs.
• Maintain document control and evidence of scope, approvals, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and handover readiness.
• Support project close-out, lessons learned, and transfer to Operations.
