Johnson & Johnson in Geel, Belgium, is recruiting an Experienced Project Engineer to lead API process equipment projects within the GET organization. The role focuses on delivery from inception to completion at our Geel site, a major chemical production facility for APIs in the J&J supply chain.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science, Technology or Engineering required or preferred.
• Independent and curious with strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and able to manage changing priorities and timelines.
• Safety and quality mindset is paramount.
• Understanding regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholder levels.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members and partners.
• Experience with process equipment engineering and project management is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Acts as engineering SME for API process equipment and provides technical leadership across design, procurement, commissioning and handover.
• Provides project leadership from inception to completion.
• Aligns with project sponsor and core/extended team to meet objectives.
• Prepares project intake including scoping, business case and options for approval.
• Facilitates planning, tracking and reporting of project deliverables.
• Manages project finances with budget allocation and cost oversight.
• Applies risk management to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Leads project close-out including handover, archiving and lessons learned.
