Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Principal Automation Project Engineer in Geel, Belgium. The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for APIs within the JnJ supply chain, delivering lifesaving medicines safely and efficiently.

The role focuses on design, development and validation of future process automation systems, driving complex project delivery and collaborating with internal and external partners to enable scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent through experience.
• Experience in Automation, Process Control Systems and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) strongly desired.
• Affinity with project engineering in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop specifications, strategies and roadmaps related to process automation systems and new technologies.
• Act as Project manager or core-team member for automation scope projects, delivering complex projects.
• Ensure computerized systems are compliant and fit for intended use for smooth operation release.
• Establish effective relationships with internal and external partners.
