Job summary

Esko, a Veralto company, seeks an experienced security-focused software engineer to join Prague-based AI Platform security. This hybrid role shapes end-to-end security controls for identity, authorization, policy enforcement, and multi-tenant isolation across AI systems and tools.

You will collaborate with cloud platform teams, security engineers, compliance specialists, and product teams to implement secure defaults, threat modelling findings, and auditable controls that are practical to adopt

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• 5+ years in software engineering with cloud/security focus (authn/authz, policy enforcement, multi-tenant isolation).
• Practical threat modelling and security testing experience.
• Experience designing/building systems with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, or agents; understands security failure modes.
• Experience creating reusable platform controls, APIs, or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Ability to communicate security decisions across engineering, security, compliance, and product stakeholders.
• Undergraduate, Master's or PhD in CS/ML/DS/AI or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI Platform security architecture and own substantial security components end-to-end.
• Design identity, authorization, delegated-access, and policy-enforcement controls for AI systems across tenants and users.
• Secure retrieval, tool use, and execution against prompt injection, data leakage, and other AI-specific threats.
• Design controls with appropriate risk-based gates, isolation, execution limits, and recovery mechanisms.
• Build audit and monitoring capabilities for traceable security-relevant activity and high-risk behavior.
• Conduct threat modelling and translate findings into shared platform controls and secure defaults.
• Collaborate with cloud platform teams, security engineers, compliance specialists, and product teams to implement practical security controls.
