Equans is seeking an Assistant Security Clearance Officer to support administrative follow-up of security clearances, opinions, and sensitive files in Brussels. You will collaborate with internal departments and authorities, ensuring timely and compliant processing of documentation.

The role requires handling confidential information, working with digital systems, and contributing to process standardisation and digitalisation. Dutch/French proficiency plus English is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, compliance, HR, administration or regulated environments is an asset.
• Willingness to undergo required security screening and obtain/maintain clearance.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple files, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Manage and follow up individual security clearances administratively.
• Prepare, submit and follow up clearance applications through Habil and the NVO platform.
• Follow up security opinions through the AFCN platform.
• Maintain a structured overview of all ongoing files, stages and statuses.
