Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Software Governance Specialist to strengthen our Digital Workplace domain. You will govern software and SaaS usage, maintain inventories, and optimize licenses while collaborating with business, security, and procurement teams.

You will drive KPI-based governance, ensure GDPR and vendor risk compliance, and report on trends and improvements. This hybrid role is based in Brussels, offering a long‑term project with flexible contracting options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT Governance, IT License Management, or Software/SaaS coordination.
• Experience with license management or software usage monitoring.
• Strong understanding of software/SaaS intake processes and compliance topics (GDPR, vendor risk, security reviews).
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.
• Analytical mindset with experience in KPI definition and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder coordination skills and ownership mindset.
• Structured and detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up discipline.
• Proactive communicator bridging business, IT, and governance topics.
• Fluent in English with knowledge of French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Execute and monitor end-to-end software and SaaS governance, defining and tracking KPIs.
• Govern intake of new software requests, evaluating internal solutions and approvals.
• Maintain software catalogue and SaaS inventory for data accuracy and completeness.
• Manage licenses by monitoring usage and aligning with contract renewals for cost optimization.
• Coordinate between business, architects, security, and procurement for timely decisions.
• Produce governance reports identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
