Wibit Consulting & Services (WibitCS) in Belgium seeks a Software Governance, SaaS & License Management Consultant to own governance process execution and monitoring across software and cloud services.

You will coordinate intake, maintain software inventory, manage licenses, and drive continuous improvement while balancing control with business agility. Fluency in English plus French or Dutch is required, and you will work with IT, security, procurement, and business teams.

Qualifications

Fluent English and French or Dutch (speak, read, write).
3-4 years of experience in IT Governance, IT License Management, Software/SaaS coordination.
Strong understanding of software/SaaS intake and approval processes.
Strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance topics (GDPR, vendor risk, security review).
Proven experience with license management or usage monitoring.
Strong stakeholder coordination skills across multiple domains.
Strong ownership mindset—proactive, structured, autonomous.
Analytical mindset with experience in KPI definition and reporting.
Excellent communication skills (business & IT).
Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.).
Structured and detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
Able to manage complexity and incomplete information.
Hands-on and solution-oriented.
Strong communicator who can bridge business, IT, and governance topics.
Focused on both control and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

Governance Process Ownership & Monitoring: Execute and monitor end-to-end governance processes.
Ensure security, compliance, procurement, and architecture checks are applied.
Define and track governance KPIs (lead time, compliance rate, gaps).
Identify bottlenecks and governance gaps; drive improvements.
Promote a pragmatic governance approach balancing control and agility.
Software & SaaS Intake Governance: Govern intake of new software/SaaS requests.
Ensure tool approval and validation; challenge requests.
Coordinate and follow up reviews and approvals.
Software Inventory & Data Quality: Ensure inventory accuracy and lifecycle data.
Own the software catalogue/SaaS inventory; maintain ownership and status.
Reduce shadow IT with better visibility and governance coverage.
License Management & Optimization: Manage licenses and renewals.
Monitor usage and identify optimization opportunities.
Ensure alignment between licenses purchased and usage.
Contribute to governance best practices and policies.
Stakeholder Coordination: Act as central point between business, IT, security, procurement, etc.
Ensure collaboration and timely decisions; follow up to closure.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Produce governance and usage reports.
Define KPIs for service performance and governance effectiveness.
Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Improve transparency for stakeholders and management.
Documentation & Process Enablement: Maintain governance docs (Confluence, SharePoint).
Make processes clear, accessible, and understood.
Support integration into procurement and tender processes.
Contribute to standardization and simplification of governance flows.
