Trane Technologies in Belgium invites you to join a bold, entrepreneurial team as a Rental Manager. You will establish a new division handling refrigerated trucks, last‑mile vehicles, generators, and storage containers, reporting to the General Manager Thermo King Belux.

The role combines strategic development with hands‑on operations. You bring 5+ years in rental or fleet management, a business degree, and strong English, Dutch and French skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/Logistics or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of rental/fleet management experience.
• Knowledge of transport refrigeration or cold storage is a plus.
• Proven ability to establish or scale business units.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L experience.

• Drive business development and build strong customer relationships.
• Manage all fleet activities and optimize rental performance.
• Take Full P&L responsibility for the Rental division.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and Aftermarket to deliver integrated solutions.

What's In It For You

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Rental Manager to set up this new division and make it successful. The portfolio includes refrigerated trucks, small trucks, last‑mile vehicles, generators, and refrigerated storage containers.

Rental Manager will report directly to General Manager Thermo King Belux.

What You Will Do

• Develop and launch rental activities in Belgium and Luxembourg and Netherlands.
• Drive business development and build strong customer relationships.
• Manage all fleet activities and ensure the highest possible rental performance.
• Full P&L responsibility for the Rental division.
• Collaborate with the Sales, Service, and Aftermarket teams to offer and deliver combined solutions.

What You Will Bring

• Nice to have a Bachelor’s degree in business management, Transport & Logistics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in rental, fleet management.
• Beneficial to have a transport refrigeration, or cold storage knowledge.
• Proven success in establishing or scaling business units.
• Strong commercial acumen and skills, including experience with P&L management.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English – both spoken and written.
• Solid practical knowledge of rental operations, including preparing offers, planning availability, and finalizing contracts.
• Hands‑on understanding of the life cycle of vehicles and equipment rented to customers.
• Experience in direct customer interaction within a rental environment, resolving day‑to‑day issues, and ensuring high service standards.
• Ability to analyze costs, rental rates, and optimize fleet utilization in real market conditions.
• Ability to make independent operational decisions in a dynamic rental environment.
