European Endowment for Democracy (EED) seeks a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist to strengthen how we monitor grants, improve reporting, and turn evidence into learning for better decisions. You will work across the organisation with data, research, and country teams to enhance MEL practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in development studies or a related field.
• At least two years in MEL within civil society or international development.
• Experience with logframes, results frameworks and donor reporting.
• Strong analytical and research skills (qualitative and quantitative).
• Excellent written English and donor reporting experience.
• Experience with PowerBI or similar data tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Strengthen MEL across the grant portfolio with the MEL Manager.
• Develop monitoring plans and review final grant assessments.
• Prepare donor logframes and maintain EU OPSYS reporting data.
• Review narrative reports for quality and consistency.
• Build dashboards and improve MEL data access with PowerBI.
• Explore how AI can enhance data analysis and learning.
• Conduct desk research for evaluations and case studies.
• Strengthen MEL capacity with country consultants and programme staff.
• Promote evidence-informed decision making across teams.
