European Endowment for Democracy (EED) is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist to strengthen MEL across its grant portfolio. You will work with the MEL Manager to improve monitoring, reporting and turn evidence into learning that informs decisions.

The role requires a Master's degree and at least two years' experience in MEL, with skills in logframes, dashboards, PowerBI, and familiarity with AI tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in development studies, economics, political science, sociology, European affairs or a related field.
• At least two years of professional MEL experience in civil society or international development.
• Experience with logframes, results frameworks and donor reporting.
• Strong analytical and research skills using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Excellent written English and donor reporting experience.
• Experience using PowerBI or similar data management tools.

Responsabilités

• Strengthen monitoring, evaluation and organisational learning across the grant portfolio.
• Develop monitoring plans and review final grant assessments.
• Prepare donor logframes and maintain reporting data in EU OPSYS.
• Review narrative reports for quality and consistency.
• Build dashboards and improve MEL data access with PowerBI and other tools.
• Explore how AI can improve data analysis, reporting and learning.
• Support MEL capacity-building across the organisation.
