European Endowment for Democracy (EED) is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist in Brussels for a two-year fixed-term contract with potential extension. The role focuses on strengthening MEL across grants, improving reporting, and turning evidence into learning to guide future decisions.

You will work with the MEL Manager to develop monitoring plans, prepare donor logframes, build dashboards, and explore AI applications to enhance data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in development studies or related field.
• At least two years of MEL experience in civil society or international development.
• Experience with logframes, results frameworks and donor reporting.
• Strong analytical and research skills, qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Excellent written English and donor report drafting.
• Experience using PowerBI and AI data tools.

Responsabilités

• Strengthen MEL across the grant portfolio and reporting.
• Develop monitoring plans with programme teams.
• Prepare donor logframes and maintain reporting data in EU OPSYS.
• Review narrative reports for data quality and consistency.
• Build dashboards and improve MEL data access with PowerBI.
• Explore how AI can enhance data analysis and learning.
• Support country consultants and programme staff to strengthen MEL.
• Promote evidence-based decision making across teams.
