Job summary

Cytiva is seeking a Business Development Manager for Gene Therapy to drive growth and technical adoption across advanced therapy workflows. You will engage customers developing viral vectors, nucleic acids and next-generation biologics, while partnering with FAS to deliver training and demonstrations.

Based in a remote setup covering Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France, you’ll support marketing and regional events, and manage opportunities in SFDC as part of a cross‑functional team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, biotech, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience in bioprocessing, cell and gene therapy, vaccines, or advanced therapy commercialization.
• Demonstrated experience with viral vectors, nucleic acids, or cell-based manufacturing.
• Proficiency using CRM systems (SFDC) for opportunities, funnel, and projects.
• Experience supporting Design-In programs and customer adoption of complex bioprocessing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own advanced therapy workflows including viral vectors, vaccines based on viral vectors, pDNA, exosomes, synthetic DNA, mRNA and oligonucleotides.
• Drive order growth in the territory by expanding Cytiva technologies with existing customers and new gene therapy programs.
• Collaborate with Field Application Specialists to test, demonstrate and train on Cytiva technologies at customer sites.
• Support marketing and lead generation by coordinating with Field Event Marketing and key regional events.
• Manage CRM and pipeline by keeping MQLs, Design-In projects and opportunities up to date in SFDC.
