Job summary

Approach People Recruitment partners with an international group specializing in shoring and scaffolding solutions and seeks a Business Development Manager in Belgium to expand market presence, cultivate client partnerships and turn opportunities into successful projects.

This 100% home-based role requires fluent French and Dutch, 4–5 years in construction sales, and a proactive, autonomous approach to owning the sales cycle with travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in shoring, scaffolding or related construction sales.
• Fluent in French and Dutch, with client-facing experience.
• Proven ability to develop business, negotiate and build long-term client relationships.
• Good understanding of technical solutions and project-based sales.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with a hands-on approach.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow your market: identify new opportunities, prospect key accounts, develop your customer portfolio.
• Turn opportunities into projects: engage with contractors and industrial clients to understand needs and identify projects.
• Sell solutions, not just products: recommend tailored shoring and scaffolding solutions with commercial and technical insight.
• Own the sales cycle: prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Manage projects end to end: follow from contract to delivery.
• Coordinate with technical and on-site teams to meet client expectations, deadlines and budgets.
• Build long-term partnerships: become a trusted contact for clients and identify repeat business opportunities.
