MEININGER Hotel Bruxelles Gare du Midi is seeking a Guest-focused Receptionist for night shifts to ensure a smooth, secure, and welcoming experience for guests.

You will handle check-in/check-out, assist guests with inquiries, coordinate with suppliers and technicians, and support other departments as needed in a diverse, international team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as receptionist.
• Outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling environment.
• Team player and able to support colleagues across departments.
• Familiarity with front office systems (ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT).

Responsabilités

• Ensure guests have a safe and memorable stay.
• Manage guest check-in and check-out processes.
• Act as first point of contact for guests, suppliers, and technicians.
• Answer guest inquiries and guide to local sights and activities.
• Handle invoicing, emails, and online requests.

YOUR TASKS

• You are a great host ensuring your guests enjoy a safe and memorable stay
• You are in charge of the well-being of our guests from check-in to check-out
• Besides for our guests, you’re also the first point of contact for all other visitors like suppliers and external technicians
• You respond to our guests' questions and inquiries and know how to direct them to major sights, local attractions and activities
• You handle the operational and administrative tasks like invoicing, answering to e-mails and online requests
• You enjoy a diverse, international work environment while we take care of an inclusive one
• You’re flexible and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early / sometimes late, during weekends and on public holidays comes with the job
• You work in great in a team and are not afraid to jump in to support other departments every now and then

YOUR PROFILE

• You have at least 1 year of experience as receptionist
• You possess an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a bustling dynamic environment, performing a variety of tasks
• You are a people person, you like helping others and creating an unforgettable experience for our guests
• You are a team player, ready to help your colleagues and tackle challenges together
• You have good knowledge of a front office system (e.g. ASSD, Fidelio, SIHOT)
• You are fluent in French and English (solid B1-B2 level)
• You are available to work on the weekends, public holidays, day and night shifts
