Elia Group is seeking a Head of Real-time Data Operations to lead a strategic team ensuring availability, quality and reliability of real-time data used by our control centres for safe grid operation.

The role requires strong leadership, deep EMS/SCADA experience and proficiency in data management, with fluency in Dutch, French and English. You will interact across operational and external partners to elevate governance and data practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field (Energy, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent).
• Experience with EMS/SCADA and network calculation tools or similar operational environments.
• Solid understanding of high‑voltage network modelling and data management.
• Proven leadership experience with excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure availability, quality and reliability of real‑time operational data for Elia’s control centres.
• Lead and develop a specialised team with clear priorities and collaboration.
• Oversee EMS data management, monitor KPIs/SLAs, coordinate incident resolution and drive improvements.
• Ensure data consistency between asset data, network model and operational model with security/audit compliance.
• Collaborate with operational teams and external partners to improve governance and methods.
