Altia is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our IT consultancy team, focusing on international projects across Europe. You will participate in testing activities on a significant European Agency project, contributing to high-quality digital solutions.

Brussels-based delivery with a far-site model and regular onsite presence, plus flexible working hours and a strong development plan. This long-term engagement offers continuous training and growth within a multilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing.
• Experience in functional testing, regression testing, UAT, defect management.
• Automation test cases using Java, REST Assured, TestNG, JUnit, log4j, Selenium, Cucumber, TS/JS and Mocha; reporting with TestExtents, Allure or Report Portal.
• Agile QA experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, Jira; various testing techniques.

Minimum Requirements

Required Experience

• Experience in software testing.
• Experience in functional testing, regression testing, UAT, defect management and evidence collection.
• Automated test cases using languages and tools such as Java, REST Assured, TestNG, JUnit, log4j, Selenium, Cucumber, TypeScript/JavaScript and Mocha; reporting using TestExtent, Allure or Report Portal.
• Experience in quality assurance within an Agile context.
• Testing tools and techniques: Selenium, Postman, Jira, equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, risk-based testing, exploratory testing and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the information systems life cycle, development methodologies.
• Test data management using relational databases.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Implementation and auditing of quality procedures and standards.

Education

• High level of English or French.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification.
