EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a QA Engineer / Test Specialist fluent in English to join the Brussels team. You will help ensure quality across backend and frontend components, collaborating with client IT teams on site.

The role involves defining test strategies, building automated test suites, and participating in Agile ceremonies, with a focus on robust test data and governance practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT (or equivalent) and relevant IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of QA or test engineering, with at least 2 years in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with backend API test automation (Playwright API testing or equivalent).
• Strong frontend test automation experience for Angular apps (Playwright or Selenium or equivalent).
• Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing (GitHub Actions or equivalent).
• Experience testing event-driven or message-based systems, verifying asynchronous flows and error handling.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments and how services are deployed with logs/diagnostics for testing.
• Ability to read and understand .NET and TypeScript/Angular code to write meaningful tests.
• Experience with test data management in complex data environments.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain test strategy, covering unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing;
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for backend (.NET/JAVA REST APIs) and frontend (Angular/PrimeNG) components;
• Set up and maintain test environments and data pipelines with the DevOps team;
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, enforcing quality gates before deployment;
• Conduct exploratory and scenario-based testing against complex multi-system workflows;
• Produce clear defect reports and work with developers to triage and resolve issues;
• Support performance and load testing for high-throughput API endpoints;
• Contribute to test documentation for governance and audit processes;
• Participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and programme increment reviews.

We currently have a vacancy for a QA Engineer / Test Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Define and maintain test strategy, covering unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and performance testing;
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for backend (.NET/JAVA REST APIs) and frontend (Angular/PrimeNG) components;
• Set up and maintain test environments and test data pipelines in collaboration with the DevOps team;
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates are enforced before deployment;
• Conduct exploratory and scenario-based testing against complex multi-system workflows;
• Produce clear, actionable defect reports and work closely with developers to triage and resolve issues;
• Support performance and load testing for high-throughput API endpoints;
• Contribute to test documentation required by formal governance reviews and audit processes;
• Participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and programme increment reviews.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years;
• Minimum 3 years of professional QA or test engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on test automation;
• Hands‑on experience with backend API test automation (Playwright API testing, or equivalent);
• Strong experience with frontend test automation for Angular applications (Playwright, or Selenium or equivalent);
• Understanding of CI/CD integration for automated testing (GitHub Actions, or equivalent);
• Experience testing event‑driven or message‑based systems, verifying asynchronous flows, message ordering, and error handling;
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes environments: understanding how services are deployed and how to access logs and diagnostics for test investigation;
• Ability to read and understand .NET and TypeScript/Angular code sufficiently to write meaningful tests and collaborate on testability;
• Experience with test data management in environments with complex data;
• Excellent command of the English language.
