imec, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the PVDPE team within the FAB Engineering Department. You will coach and develop a 9-strong Process Engineering team, drive safe and efficient operations, and collaborate across functions to meet KPIs and project timelines.

The role requires a Master in Science or Engineering or equivalent semiconductor process experience, strong leadership, and excellent English in a multi-national setting.

Qualifications

• Master in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience in semiconductor process engineering.
• Experience with PVD or plasma deposition techniques.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication and ability to work in multicultural environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and long-term strategic direction for the PVDPE team.
• Foster a safe, inclusive work environment and develop team members.
• Drive operational excellence by improving volume, cycle time, and quality KPIs.
• Ensure training and development opportunities for team members.
• Represent the PVDPE team in cross-functional projects and stakeholder meetings.
