Imec, the world’s trusted leader in chip-driven innovation, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the PVD Process Engineering team of 9 engineers in Leuven, Belgium. You will guide day-to-day operations, foster safety, drive performance, and shape long-term team strategy to support imec’s fabrication efforts.

Reporting to the Deposition and Diffusion group, you will develop talent, coordinate cross-functional projects, ensure KPI delivery, and grow the team to support imec’s 200mm and 300mm

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor process engineering, including PVD.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to drive KPIs and collaborate across functions.
• Willingness to work at imec in Leuven, Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and long-term strategic direction for the PVDPE team.
• Ensure safe and efficient operations and KPI targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and tools.
• Represent the PVDPE team in cross-functional projects and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage resource planning and talent development within the team.
