Imec invites applications for an Engineering Manager to lead the PVDPE team (9 engineers) within the FAB Engineering Department at imec in Leuven, Belgium. You will report to the DD group manager and drive growth of the team to support the expansion of the 300mm cleanroom.

You will coach engineers, ensure safe operations, and steer continuous improvement while collaborating across functions in a dynamic, multicultural environment. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with extensive industrial experience in semiconductor process engineering.
• Strong experience in PVD or other plasma deposition techniques.
• Ability to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and long-term strategic direction for the PVDPE team.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop team capabilities through training and coaching.
• Represent the PVDPE team in cross-functional projects and stakeholder meetings.
