Job summary

IBA Proton Therapy seeks a Medical Physicist to support acceptance and commissioning of proton therapy equipment at customer sites. You will train customers and provide on-site or remote product application support, while feeding feedback to product management.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for up to six weeks at a stretch.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Medical Physics or Biomedical Engineering.
• Demonstrate a rapid understanding of newly presented information.
• Previous experience as Medical Physicist in Proton Therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with healthcare professionals of the assigned sites under installation and in clinical operation
• Ensure support to the site team in medical physics topics and support/perform validation on proton therapy center
• Perform acceptance testing with the end-user on the recurrent products
• Train and support customer to use properly and safely equipment/systems
• Report and document interventions and actions undertaken with the required level of details and accuracy
• Provide support to the customer with commissioning activities
• Provide on-site and/or remote product application support to customers
• Provide continuous structured customer product feedback to the Clinical Solution Group and Product Management. Participate in procedures update and optimization
• Coach other product experts
