Job summary

IBA Proton Therapy seeks System Requirements and Verification engineers to join the Innovation and Development group, shaping the world-leading imaging system embedded in Proteus 235. You will manage system requirements, safety and verification for medical devices using ionizing radiations.

You will collaborate across disciplines, ensure compliance with IEC/ISO standards, and contribute to rigorous documentation, test plans and design reviews while traveling up to 15% for testing activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering or multidisciplinary background.
• Experience of 3–5 years in IBA products or in Requirements Engineering and Verification & Validation (V&V).
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, IREB, and Agile methodologies are strongly valued.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety and reliability analysis activities.
• Define test plans and verification methods; perform tests.
• Ensure requirement engineering activities and traceability across projects.
• Lead improvements of system engineering methods and tools.
• Travel up to 15% for testing activities.
