Job summary

IBA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair proton therapy systems at customer sites worldwide. The role is home-based with extensive travel to the USA, Central and South America, and occasional Europe/Asia.

You will train customers, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with global R&D to implement improvements. Strong electronics knowledge and a degree in Physics or Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable Engineering discipline or 3-5 years of related field service engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of electronics.
• Understanding of High Vacuum and RF (Radio Frequency) systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair IBA systems at customer sites.
• Train customers to operate equipment safely.
• Generate reports with appropriate level of detail.
