Smile Brussels is seeking a Project Manager to orchestrate the delivery of open-source digital solutions from conception to go-live. Based in Brussels, you will steer multi-disciplinary teams of developers, UI/UX designers, and QA to ensure timely, on-budget deliveries that meet high-quality standards.

You will manage client communications, risks, and budgets, applying Agile/Scrum or V-model practices as appropriate. Fluency in English and French or Dutch is expected.

As a Project Manager

You Are The Maestro Of Our Digital Projects And The Privileged Partner Of Our Clients! Based In Our Vibrant Brussels Agency, Your Mission Is To Orchestrate The Successful Delivery Of Innovative Open-source Web And Digital Solutions, From Conception To Go-live. On a Daily Basis, You Will

• Steer end-to-end digital projects, ensuring respect for deadlines, budgets, and the high-quality standards of Smile.
• Coordinate and animate multidisciplinary teams (developers, UI/UX designers, architects, QA) to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively identifying solutions and mitigating potential roadblocks before they impact delivery.
• Communicate transparently with clients, providing regular status updates, facilitating steering committees, and ensuring their continuous satisfaction and trust.
• Guarantee the financial health of your projects through accurate reporting, resource planning, and rigorous budget tracking.
• Champion Agile/Scrum or V-model methodologies depending on the client's context, ensuring best practices are seamlessly applied.

Your profile

Holding a Master's degree in engineering, IT, or business, you have at least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally within a digital agency, IT services company, or tech consulting firm.

• You have a strong track record of successfully delivering complex web, e-commerce, or digital transformation projects.
• You master project management methodologies (both Agile and traditional) and are highly proficient with associated tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• You possess a strong affinity for the tech and open-source ecosystem, allowing you to quickly grasp technical challenges and communicate effectively with your development teams.
• Known for your outstanding organizational skills and rigorous approach, you never lose sight of the big picture while keeping an eye on the details.
• Your exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, combined with fluency in English and French (or Dutch), make you an inspiring leader for your teams and a trusted advisor for your clients in Brussels.
