Job summary

Smile Open Source Solutions in Brussels is seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform Specialist (Freelance) to design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, intranets, and document management solutions for a key client.

You will develop Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions, build data models, create dashboards with Power BI, and help govern Microsoft 365 security and governance. Senior profiles may lead technical design and advise on low-code strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SharePoint Online including site architecture, permissions, content types, lists and libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of Power BI; SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Power Fx is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance and security.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, intranets, and document management solutions.
• Developing business applications with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and automating processes with Power Automate.
• Building data models and solutions on Dataverse and integrating with Microsoft 365 and third-party systems via connectors.
• Creating dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Gathering requirements from business users and translating them into functional, user-friendly solutions.
• Implementing governance, security, and ALM best practices for the Power Platform (environments, DLP policies, solutions, CoE Starter Kit).
• Supporting migrations to SharePoint Online and training end users.
• (For Senior profiles) Leading technical design and advising clients on low-code strategy.

We are currently looking for a talented SharePoint & Power Platform Specialist (Freelance) to join our dynamic team and work on high-impact projects for one of our major clients.

Position Overview

• Status: Freelance
• Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid model: 2-3 days of remote work per week)

Your Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, intranets, and document management solutions.
• Developing business applications with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and automating processes with Power Automate.
• Building data models and solutions on Dataverse and integrating with Microsoft 365 and third-party systems via connectors.

Profile & Technical Skills

• Strong experience with SharePoint Online (site architecture, permissions, content types, lists and libraries).
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of Power BI; SPFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Power Fx skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance and security.
• Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) are a strong asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong team spirit.
• Language: Professional fluency in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
