Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to drive IT projects in Generative and Conversational AI for a leading public transport client. You will shepherd scope, timelines, and deliverables, aligning business requirements with IT capabilities to produce high-quality digital results.

The role requires 2+ years in Conversational AI project management, experience in the public sector, and strong Jira usage.

Qualifications

• University degree in informatics or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in Conversational AI or Chatbot project management.
• 2+ years in the public sector or government-owned organizations.
• Experience using Jira across at least two project environments.
• PM² Project Methodology Certificate.
• Agile Methodology Certificate.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (C1) with good knowledge of the second language and English (B2).

Our client, a leading organization in the public transport sector, is looking for a Project Manager to drive the delivery of IT projects in the domain of Generative and Conversational AI. This role involves managing project scope, planning, and implementation to ensure customer requirements are translated into high-quality digital deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from initiation through to successful completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on business requirements and IT capabilities.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and communication materials in line with organizational standards.
• Manage project budgets and propose adjustments according to defined processes.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure the business value created by project outputs.

Requirements

• You hold a university degree in Informatics or a related technical field.
• You bring 2+ years of experience in Conversational AI or Chatbot project management.
• You have 2+ years of experience working within the public sector or government-owned organizations.
• You possess demonstrable experience using Jira across at least two different project environments.
• You have a Project Methodology Certificate such as PM².
• You hold an Agile Methodology Certificate.
• You're proactive, possess strong organizational capabilities, and demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1 level) with good knowledge of the second language and English (B level).

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Confluence and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with managing e-commerce or customer-facing applications.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and steering committees.
• Possession of a SAFe Certificate.
• Knowledge of Azure, RAG, LLMs, and Embeddings.
