Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Belgium seeks a motivated project leader to drive the development of the next generation of oil injected screw compressor heart from concept to production. You will guide a cross‑functional team and manage the product from concept through industrialization, ensuring technical coherence and value for all stakeholders.

The role combines project leadership with hands‑on product development, testing and manufacturing at the Wilrijk location, with English as the working language

Qualifications

• Master in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as project leader/manager in a technical environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a product development context.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid mechanical engineering background.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and steer the project team through the full product development process.
• Guide the product from concept to industrialization: specs, design, tests, and production setup.
• Safeguard technical coherence during design with cross-department feedback.
• Nurture cross‑functional collaboration to optimize cost and value for stakeholders.
• Hands-on involvement in development, testing and manufacturing at the Wilrijk site.
