Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk, Belgium, seeks a driven engineer to advance thermodynamics and fluid dynamics of the oil-injected screw compressor, core to our high-performance units. You will shape product development from prototype to serial production and perform modelling, simulations, and testing on site.

The role blends hands-on work with simulations and data processing, in an international team of project leaders and engineers. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering Science or Master of Science; PhD favored.
• Strong technical background with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MATLAB; Python also preferred.
• Experience with oil-injected screw compressors or compressors in general is a plus.
• Able to work in an international environment.
• Fluent English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Extensive research, simulations, and modelling on compressor components.
• Identify decisions and devise a test plan to close knowledge gaps.
• Implement new concepts in new product development projects.
• Acquire knowledge from internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow technology evolution for specific compressor types.
