ThoughtLabs Belgium is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of complex IT projects. You will align objectives with management and stakeholders, monitor progress, and provide a program-wide perspective to project managers.

You will identify cross-project dependencies, manage risks, and ensure budget adherence while liaising with steering committees. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a client-focused, proactive approach to drive successful

• Agree on program objectives with management and stakeholders.
• Represent the client's and organisation's interests.
• Monitor progress of the programs and projects.
• Provide project managers with a program perspective (purpose and status).
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies and risks.
• Monitor program costs and perform estimation & follow-up.
• Report to line management and stakeholders.
• Sponsor and participate in steering committees for program projects.

• agree on program objectives with management and stakeholders
• represent the client's and organisation's interests
• monitor the progress of the projects in the program
• provide the involved project managers with a program perspective (purpose and status)
• act as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to solving project issues that have program impacts
• identify and manage cross-project dependencies
• identify and manage program risks and issues
• monitor individual project progress, and support project-level activity when required
• estimation and follow-up of the program cost
• reporting towards line management and stakeholders
• adhere to policies and procedures defined by Compliance, Permanent Control and Operational Risk
• is the sponsor of the projects in the program
• is part of the steering committee of the programs projects
• acts as escalation path for project managers in the project
• foresees budget for the programs projects

Required experience / knowledge:

At least +10 years relevant experience as Program Manager

• Proven experience in the management of complex projects or a program of projects
• Very good knowledge of Project management methodologies and tools
• Strong organizational insight
• Familiar with various IT systems

Proven experience in data migration, data mesh, reporting tools rationalization

• Ability to see the overall picture (helicopter view) - strategic thinking
