Job summary

Be-Mobile, a European leader in smart mobility solutions, seeks an experienced Product Software Engineer in Ghent. You will own software solutions end-to-end, from problem understanding to deployment and production follow‑up, collaborating with Product to translate real-world needs into robust software.

You’ll lead technical decisions, balance product value with technical sustainability, and contribute to architecture, CI/CD, and reliability. Fluency in Dutch and strong English are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong backend and full‑stack experience across the stack.
• Proven ability to design, build, deploy and operate production software.
• Solid SaaS concepts: auth, API design, distributed systems, multi- tenancy.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product features from analysis to production follow-up.
• Own a product domain and act as technical reference.
• Build and maintain software across the stack with backend focus and frontend contribution.
• Translate product and business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to balance value, complexity, and sustainability.
• Question requirements to find simpler or better solutions.
• Ensure software runs reliably in production and take ownership post‑deployment.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, CI/CD, deployment and reliability practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools where they genuinely improve productivity.
• Share knowledge to raise the team's technical level.
