Proactive Global is seeking an Application Engineer in Belgium to bridge engineering, product development and digitalisation. You will implement new products into internal software tools, ensuring configurators stay accurate and aligned with product standards.

The role combines technical engineering knowledge with IT systems, data and digital tools, and involves supporting internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in application management or maintenance.
• Interest in IT systems, software and digital tools.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach.
• Structured, accurate and independent working style.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English.
• Nice to have: SQL Server, C#, product configurators or related software, and RD/Engineering collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and optimise existing product configurators.
• Integrate new product developments into internal software tools.
• Work closely with R&D and Engineering teams.
• Manage and maintain consistent product master data.
• Analyse and improve the performance and functionality of internal tools.
• Coordinate technical updates and system developments.
• Act as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of new configurators with external partners.
• Provide training and support to end users.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
