Job summary

Engibex is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Software Integration & Base Software team on the eDCT product. You will design, implement, and maintain embedded software in close collaboration with System and Application SW teams.

The role requires practical AUTOSAR configuration experience, ASPICE-driven development, and strong knowledge of ISO26262 and ISO21434. Fluency in English is essential, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and thorough documentation habits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration and automotive standards (ASPICE).
• Knowledge of ISO26262 and ISO21434 is a plus.
• Strong software architecture and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and document software features.
• Develop and maintain eDCT software with QA collaboration.
• Create test specifications with the V&V team.

Job Description

As part of the Software Integration & Base Software team, you will develop and maintain the software for our eDCT product. You will work closely with our System and Application software teams to design robust, safe, and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities
• Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases
• Develop new software and maintain existing products
• Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Assist in diagnosing software-level issues

Profile / Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• >5 years of experience in Embedded SW development
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
• Experience in Autosar configuration
• Experienced with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
• Good understanding of software architecture principles
• Experience with Vector Tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) is a plus
• Experience with VECTOR AUTOSAR stack is a plus
• Expertise in bootloader design and HSM firmware is a plus
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation
• Proficient in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools
• Experience in agile development environments
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Fluent in English
