SailPeak, a Brussels-based consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Product Owner for AI-enabled projects within Banking & Insurance clients. You will drive product strategy, define roadmaps, and lead cross-functional squads including data scientists, ML engineers, and UX/UI designers.

You will clarify requirements, manage stakeholders, and translate the product vision into a prioritized backlog, delivering high-value features with impact across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner/PM in AI projects or related field.
• Extensive Banking/FinTech experience is required.
• Proven ability to deploy and scale AI solutions such as chatbots, VA, and speech-to-text.

Responsabilités

• Oversee products around Virtual Assistants, Autonomous Agents, and Speech-to-text.
• Clarify the product's functional specs according to agile methods.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define needs and deliver high-value products.
• Develop and communicate a compelling 3-year product vision.
• Manage backlogs aligned to strategic business needs and dependencies.
• Plan iteratively with squads of data scientists, ML engineers, and designers.
• Work with Scrum Masters to ensure smooth product cycles.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with 5-10 years of experience, working on AI-related projects to join our growing team.

You will be working on some of the most challenging and impactful projects across our banking and financial services clients. You will contribute to internal initiatives focused on building and deploying AI solutions to expand the company's offering.

• Oversee products around Virtual Assistants, Autonomous Agents, Speech-to-text & many more
• Clarify the product's functional specifications according to the agile methodology
• Work with and manage business stakeholders (internal clients) on defining needs/requirements and delivering high-value products to them
• Need strategic thinking to develop and convey a compelling 3y product vision
• Work in squads of 6-10 Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and UX/UI Designers, reporting to the Cluster Product Owner.
• Build & Prioritise a robust Backlog Management around the business' strategic needs
• Understand product dependencies, and identify roadblocks in the product cycle
• Continuous planning and turning the product vision into reality
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters

Profil

You bring to the table:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager
• Extensive experience across Banking / FinTech
• Demonstrated ability in deploying and scaling AI Solutions (Chatbots, VAs, Speech-to-text, etc.)
• Strategic thinking around designing and building product roadmaps

Fluency in English and French/Dutch

• Experience with Scrum or Agile methods is a great plus for us.
