Sailpeak, a Brussels-based consulting firm, is seeking a Business Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to join our Brussels team. You will translate business needs into requirements, bridge gaps between stakeholders and delivery teams, and optimize end-to-end processes for banking and insurance clients.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance (or consulting for these industries).
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Interest/Nice-to-Have: AI and automation technologies (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team in Brussels.

In this role, you will work on impactful digital transformation projects across our leading banking and insurance clients. While core business analysis is at the heart of what you will do day-to-day, being part of Sailpeak means you’ll also have exposure to our internal initiatives and cutting-edge solutions in Data & AI.

You will:

• Translate Business Needs: Turn business strategy and product roadmaps into clear business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

• Bridge the Gap: Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology/delivery teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.

• Optimize Processes: Map, document, and analyze end-to-end process flows and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and drive optimization.

• Manage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to gather feedback, align priorities, manage expectations, and track overall progress.

• Support Delivery & Rollout: Assist in change management, user testing, training, and solution adoption across business units.

• Track & Report Performance: Provide insights and reporting on project KPIs, adoption metrics, and business outcomes to support strategic decision-making.

• Explore AI Opportunities: Identify potential areas where automation, data analytics, or AI-enabled tools (e.g., digital assistants, intelligent process automation) can add extra value to business processes.

You bring to the table:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance sector (or consulting for these industries).

• Strong capability in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.

• Solid understanding of core banking or insurance operational processes and digital tools.

• Interest/Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with or curiosity about AI and automation technologies (e.g., chatbots, speech-to-text, digital assistants, predictive analytics) is a strong plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Language Skills

• Fluency in English AND either French or Dutch (proficiency in all three is an asset).

Other Skills

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a big plus.

• Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to work independently and autonomously in high-impact environments.

• A passion for continuous learning, growth, and keeping up with digital and tech trends.
