Process Expert - Payments (Senior) - BNP Paribas Fortis

Dates: 2026-12-01 — 2027-12-01

Join BNP Paribas Fortis as a Senior Process Expert focused on Payments within the Payment Excellence Lab. The assignment is embedded in Cash Management Products and Servicing (CMPS) and supports the Payment Excellence Cash Management trajectory. You will help move international and foreign-exchange payments beyond reliable execution toward a differentiated client experience. The lab is managed by the CMCC CT4OPS team.

The mission tackles root causes of inefficiency across the international payment lifecycle. You will work with stakeholders inside BNP Paribas and external correspondent banks to improve collaboration across borders. Delivery must remain on time and within scope while payment flows are streamlined from pre-validation through post-processing. The intended results include faster, more accurate and more transparent processing, stronger straight-through processing and better client satisfaction.

The work combines process analysis, change management and operational excellence with opportunities to explore technological and AI-driven solutions. Applicants need at least five years of relevant international payments experience, strong analytical and collaboration capabilities, and excellent French and English communication. Knowledge of Dutch, BNP Paribas and AI in international payments is advantageous. The assignment runs from December 2026 to December 2027 in Brussels with a 50/50 hybrid schedule and occasional travel to Paris.
