Qualifications

Process Engineer (Senior) - BNP Paribas Fortis

The Tribe Invest & Financial Insurances is responsible for investment products distributed by the Bank and develops and maintains end-to-end solutions for clients. It consists of 13 squads organized into three Clusters plus three transversal entities. The tribe is accelerating the digitalization and accessibility of its investment offering while implementing important regulatory projects. The Senior Process Engineer joins the Client Cluster's Instructions & Orders squad to process and analyze Execution Only processes for all clients.

As an end-to-end process manager, the Process Engineer defines and implements new business subprocesses and adjusts existing processes in line with Business Architecture principles and the Bank's strategic objectives. The role continuously improves processes for customer satisfaction, efficiency and risk management, while monitoring indicators and customer complaints to identify improvements. It also contributes to application-change needs and testing, performs analyses and studies, coordinates stakeholders and operational teams, and creates clear documentation. Processes and documentation must comply with internal and external Legal, Compliance, Permanent Control and General Inspection guidelines.

The role also guides change by identifying needs, executing change-management steps, supporting users after implementation, and collaborating with Business and IT partners during ideation. The Process Engineer works in a multidisciplinary Agile team responsible for defining, building, testing and implementing products or services within limited time spans. The consultant helps deliver prioritized stories during planned sprints beyond their own specialist area, independently estimating task scope and complexity. Commitments are made through Agile ceremonies including Quarterly Agile Planning, with a hybrid expectation of 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
