BNP Paribas Fortis is seeking a Business Analyst to understand, translate and communicate business needs, and identify opportunities for improvement within the Invest domain. You will work with stakeholders to design and optimize business solutions and support the Product Owner in defining vision and OKRs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Invest domain, particularly self-investing.
• Excellent analytical skills to understand complex financial markets.
• Structured with strong stakeholder management.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with ability to share knowledge.
• Client and end-user focused, prioritizing customer needs.
• Fluent in English and at least one national language; passive understanding of the other.
• Experience in an Agile working environment.
• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Process Experts, Channel Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, IT Architects, Legal and Compliance experts to study and estimate value potential.
• Design, deliver and realize value for Invest solutions; define acceptance criteria.
• Gather and analyze requirements; understand functionalities of applications in scope.
• Support Product Owner in defining product vision and OKRs; priorities.
• Participate in Quarterly Agile Planning (QAP) and backlog refinement; ensure scope is respected.

As a Business Analyst, you understand, translate and communicate the business needs and identify opportunities for improvement. You like to work closely with stakeholders to understand, design, and optimize business solutions.

You also have a firm grasp of business strategy, operational processes, and technology/product knowledge required to develop these solutions. In this particular case, you have a very good understanding of Invest Self-Servicing Platforms.

You will be part of the Transformation Office at BNP Paribas Fortis, which is the driving force behind the bank’s strategic evolution and BNP Paribas Fortis’ endeavour in the domain of Invest self-servicing platforms.

AND IN DETAIL

• You play a crucial role in the realization of the new initiatives and solutions in the Invest domain, by collaborating with various stakeholders, including Process Experts, Channel Managers, Product Owners/Specialists, UX Designers, IT Architects, Legal and Compliance experts.
• Your key tasks and responsibilities will include study and estimation of value potential, solution design, solution delivery, value realization, stakeholder management, and specific tasks such as collecting and understanding stakeholder needs and defining acceptance criteria.
• You take care of requirements gathering and analysis and have a good knowledge of the functionalities of the applications serving the processes and the products in your scope.
• You support the (Cluster) Product Owner in defining product vision and related OKRs, contribute to business case development, and help in the prioritization of customer and user needs.
• You participate in Quarterly Agile Planning (QAP) and review meetings, support the (Squad) Product Owner in backlog clarification and refinement, and ensure the feature scope is respected during development.

YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES

• You have a solid experience in the Invest domain, particularly in the area of self-investing
• You have excellent analytical skills, can understand complex financial markets and structure complex demands
• You are structured and can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills
• You have solid presentation and storytelling skills, facilitation skills, allowing you to communicate complex ideas, both orally and in writing, with a strong ability to share your knowledge and expertise with others
• You are client and end-user focused, prioritizing customers and user needs, and striving for continuous improvement
• You are fluent in English and at least one national language, with a passive understanding of the other national language.
• You have gained experience in an Agile working environment
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience.
