Job summary

GardPass Consulting & Space seeks a Senior Solution Architect to lead architectures for complex defence-related systems in Belgium. You will drive design decisions, align with requirements, and coordinate cross-project target architectures while maintaining standards across initiatives.

The role requires active NATO SECRET clearance, strong MBSE expertise, and experience in delivering secure, high-availability communications infrastructure, with a focus on future wireless and deployable mobile

Qualifications

Active NATO SECRET security clearance required.
Master's degree with 5 years post-related experience, or Bachelor's with 8 years post-related experience.
Experience managing teams of technical personnel.
Knowledge of Mobile Infrastructure technologies and trends.
Experience with design and systems integration (AC power distribution, UPS, fuel storage).
Understanding of Wireless technologies including SATCOM.
Experience with Architecture modelling languages (UML, SysML, ArchiMate) in MBSE contexts.
Experience applying quality assurance practices.
Development, implementation, fielding, testing and maintenance of modern communications equipment.
ITIL Foundation.
PRINCE2 Foundation or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

Leads development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring alignment with requirements.
Establishes policies for selection of architecture components.
Manages trade-offs between functional, service quality, and systems management
Communicates proposed decisions to stakeholders.
Coordinates and manages target architecture across multiple projects.
Maintains stable, viable architecture and ensures design consistency across projects.
