Job summary

NCIM seeks a Senior Solution Engineer to design, integrate and maintain complex DCIS solutions, owning the architecture of assigned operational Nodes throughout their lifecycle.

Based in Belgium, 10+ years of experience in engineering or system architecture is required, with MBSE experience and strong English documentation ability. NATO Secret clearance is mandatory; travel to NATO sites within Belgium may be possible.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience and reuse of approved modules, services and architectures.
• Strong system architecture, integration, interfaces, dependencies and verification.
• Lead architecture decisions and trade-off analyses across domains.
• Proficient English for producing complex technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into implementable solutions and system architectures.
• Apply MBSE and reuse of approved modules, services and patterns.
• Perform technical trade-off analyses: performance, security, resilience, deployability, cost, schedule.
• Own architecture, interfaces and evolution of assigned Nodes.
• Assess changes, obsolescence and refreshes and their impact on the system.
• Maintain Node roadmaps and manage technical debt across lifecycles.
• Coordinate across networking, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, storage and automation.
• Lead cross-functional technical coordination and resolve conflicting requirements.
